LAS VEGAS ( FOX5) — NFL insiders report the Las Vegas Raiders are signing wide receiver Amari Cooper to a one-year contract. Cooper was selected fourth overall by the Raiders in 2025. He was later traded to Dallas mid-season in 2018 and then played for the Browns. He got traded to the Buffalo Bills mid-season last year.

On Monday, the Las Vegas Raiders decided it was too quiet in the NFL world and that there hadn’t been enough drama surrounding them as of late, which is out of the norm. So, news dropped that starting receiver Jakobi Meyers had requested a trade after he and the Raiders couldn’t agree on an extension. Then, the Raiders signed Amari Cooper.

The Las Vegas Raiders aren't likely to trade wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, even with his reported trade request. But if they do, there's one clear trade partner for the Raiders.
