After playing well in the Giants’ first two preseason games, against the Bills and Jets, Dart got his unofficial first NFL start Thursday, while playing with and against backups. (In the Jets game, he got a three-and-out drive — plus one play on another possession — with the starters.)

After taking big steps forward in both training camp and preseason action it appears Jaxson Dart could potentially have already climbed up the Giants' depth chart a bit.
