Israel is facing fierce condemnation after a pair of strikes on a Gaza hospital killed five journalists as well as medical workers and others on Monday.

Israel struck one of the main hospitals in the Gaza Strip on Monday and then hit the facility again as journalists and rescue workers rushed to the scene, killing at least 20 people and wounding scores more,

The Israel Defense Forces acknowledged striking the area of Nasser hospital, which killed at least 20 people and said the chief of the general staff had ordered an inquiry.
