The Cowboys have until 3 p.m. Tuesday to finalize what their roster will look like to open the 2025 season. Dallas started to make some moves Sunday, starting with their expected release of La’el Collins. The veteran offensive lineman notably rejoined the Cowboys in camp as the team battled some key injuries.

The undrafted rookie wide receiver out of Oregon quickly became a fan favorite around Cowboys Nation due to his play in both training camp and preseason. But, that may not be enough for him to make it through roster cuts when Dallas gets down to the league mandated 53-man roster.

The Dallas Cowboys are officially underway with roster cuts, having made the first move on Sunday. The Cowboys will be trimming down the roster from 91 players to 53 ahead of Tuesday’s cutdown day, when teams must be at the key number by 4:00 p.
