The Denver Broncos polished off the preseason with a cruising 28-19 win over the New Orleans Saints, emerging from this summer's action at a perfect 3-0. The exhibition nature of the preseason might mean that the games don't count in the standings, but they do matter.

Cranky Sean Payton: At no point, on any early pan to Payton on the sidelines on 9News’ broadcast of Broncos-Saints, did the man look happy. For good reason. The Broncos’ first-team offense looked bad, again, for a couple of drives. Payton smoldered.

The offense had a rough first drive, going three-and-out, before finally getting a field goal on their second time down the field.
