The Cincinnati Bengals are trimming down their offseason roster to 53 players as the regular season is now next on the calendar. Cincinnati exited training camp and preseason action with 90 players. 37 of them will have to be waived,

Mitchell Tinsley won’t be denied. But Williams is an especially tough cut to make. He’s the perfect example of adding to the roster well. The Bengals nabbed him on the waiver wire last year and he played himself onto the roster, showing well on special teams returns, too. Other teams will have an interest.
