By Philip O'Connor (Reuters) -Sweden captain Kosovare Asllani scored one goal and made another as her side cruised into the knockout stages of the women's European Championship with a 3-0 win over Poland on Tuesday that eliminated the Poles.

Goals from Sjoeke Nüsken and Lea Schüller saw Germany come from behind to beat Denmark 2-1 in Basel. With German captain Giulia Gwinn ruled out of the tournament as a result of picking up an injury in their opening game against Poland, Carlotta Wamser was given the nod at right back.
