A K-9 is back on the job at Washington Dulles International Airport after authorities say a passenger found with more than 100 pounds of prohibited items kicked the dog hard enough to send him airborne.

A Customs and Border Protection K9 is back on the job with his handler after he was violently kicked by an Egyptian traveler at Dulles Airport. Freddie the beagle had to be hospitalized for internal injuries but the five-year-old dog was back to inspecting bags on Thursday.
