Fixtures for the ninth edition of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, hosted by the United Arab Emirates, replacing Bangladesh.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee on Friday, 20th September, named a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC event. Chamari Athapatthu, who captained Sri Lanka to the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 crown, will continue to lead them.

As expected, Sri Lanka’s inspirational leader Chamari Athapaththu is at the helm of the unit. The squad is largely similar to the one that helped Sri Lanka to their first-ever Women’s Asia Cup title win in July this year, with Inoka Ranaweera’s inclusion.
