As pretty much the whole world knows by now, Hollow Knight: Silksong finally has a release date after six years of waiting. September 4 is finally the day that we can all dive into Hornet's stand-alone adventure and stop the endless silkposting and wondering what's taken Team Cherry so long.

Indie metroidvania Hollow Knight has seen a sharp uptick in popularity since the big Silksong release date reveal, reaching over 33K peak players on Steam.

Silksong has been confirmed for a number of platforms, but if it misses one in particular, it would be a great shame for everyone.
