Lich Vu has been in the hospital since the Oct. 27 incident that left him with a brain bleed and a broken neck. The altercation with the police officer involved a dispute over a traffic ticket.

An Oklahoma City police officer slammed a 71-year-old man to the ground while investigating a car crash on Oct. 27, 2024, causing serious injuries. More than two weeks later, the man is still hospitalized and the officer is on paid administrative leave.
