Milan outsprints Van Aert to win Tour stage eight, Pogacar still in yellow
Italy's Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) fought off Belgian Wout van Aert to win stage eight of the Tour de France from Saint-Meen-le-Grand to Laval on Saturday, with defending champion Tadej Pogacar retaining the yellow jersey.

Italian rider Jonathan Milan timed his attack perfectly to win the eighth stage of the Tour de France in a sprint finish Saturday. Milan overtook Australian Kaden Groves on his left and held off Belgian rider Wout van Aert to beat him by about half a bike length.
