If the Los Angeles Chargers believe in Taylor Heinicke as their QB2, they could see if anyone is interested in adding Trey Lance via trade.

It looks like Trey Lance has sewn up the second-string quarterback spot for the Los Angeles Chargers. In Saturday's preseason game versus the San Francisco 49ers, he completed five of eight pass attempts, and overall, he has looked fairly sharp throughout the exhibition schedule.

On third-and-9 from the 49ers’ 24-yard line, second-year quarterback Trey Lance launched a perfectly timed pass toward rookie speedster Danny Gray against the Green Bay Packers. Gray caught it at the Green Bay 45 in stride and streaked into the end zone.
