Furious city teachers are threatening to pull their cash from the United Federation of Teachers’ political activities fund after union leaders blindsided them and endorsed socialist Zohran Mamdani, The Post has learned.

Mamdani won a record-setting primary victory, and unions, grassroots Democratic groups, and savvy elected officials are rushing to back him. Now it’s the establishment’s turn.

As Zohran Mamdani runs for mayor in the general election, some leaders are encouraging him to keep Jessica Tisch as New York City’s police commissioner.
